Project description:
The purpose of the Project is to develop basic mass and energy balances, to identify the main areas of inefficient use of energy, raw materials, water, packaging materials, chemicals; to identify the main areas of waste generation and other areas with potential to improve material and energy efficiency. As a final result, low-cost measures and cost-effective investment projects for improvement should be identified.
Project task:
– Creating a basic flow chart showing the actual use of water, energy and waste generation
– Collection of available data on the spot
– Development of the concept for additional data collection (use of existing data, use of existing meters, assessment of quantities on site, decisions on measurements)
– Performing measurements
– Analysis and generation of options
– Evaluation of options (Cost-benefit assessment of options, environmental impact assessment and improvement using the proposed options) – Reporting
