First GreenUp Accelerator is officially wrapped!

We are still processing everything we managed to accomplish in the past three months. When we started planning GreenUp back in January, connecting with partners, securing mentors, building the curriculum, inviting jury members, organizing workshops and events, and constantly adjusting timelines, it often felt like we were building a plane while flying it. And somehow, we landed it successfully.

  • 10 startups completed the full program
  • 5 startups received financial support
  • 2 teams received financial awards

Three months may sound short on paper, but the program was truly intense for everyone involved, from participants to the entire organizing team. Workshops, expert sessions, office hours, pitch practices, Demo Day rehearsals, logistics, coordination and all the moments in between created a fast paced and demanding journey.

But the results made every step worth it. We now have confident teams, strong Demo Day pitches, and truly positive feedback from all sides, from environmental and green chemistry experts to representatives of the financial sector including banks and investors.

Huge thank you to our partners ICT Hub, Yale University, UNIDO, GEF, GIZ, Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade and Center for cleaner production of Serbia for supporting this journey from day one.

And big congratulations to our startups Sferikon, Biolarva, Njuppa, Bifrost, Fragment, Ride and Stride, Where to park, Peasy, Solaris and Veles Sense. We are proud to have been part of your growth story. 🙌🏻

Seeing our first cohort successfully complete the program confirmed what we believed from the start: Serbia has the potential to build a strong green innovation ecosystem, and GreenUp is now proudly part of that story.
