IMPLEMENTATION OF CLEANER PRODUCTION IN THE CITY OF PANCEVO

Project description:

Cooperation with local authorities on the application of the methodology of cleaner production in 15 companies from the territory of Pancevo (state petrochemical producer HIP Petrohemija, eight public utility companies, recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment and five private companies from different sectors). A visit to selected companies and information collection, review of existing data, review of relevant BREFs and preparation of cleaner production options. Training of company representatives, representatives of local authorities and local consultants on cleaner production, control, benchmarking, analysis of material flows, energy efficiency and environmental legislation.

Project task:

– Workshops for company representatives and local consultants

– Collection of data on material and water consumption, energy, amount of waste generated

– Analysis of material flows

– Energy flow analysis 

– RE audits and on-site visits

– Defining CP options (technical, economic and environmental evaluation)

– Reporting and action planning
