Project description:

The support to competent authorities and operators in Serbia in adopting a sustainable approach for the implementation of the IPPC/IE directive in the intensive cultivation sector, given the connection with other directives and the specifics of the production plants involved. Joint workshops for competent authorities and operators, visits to selected facilities, training for representatives of local self-government and environmental inspection and active participation in the preparation of integrated permits. The project supports 11 selected operators in the preparation of applications for integrated permits and other relevant documentation, and 11 LSU in the preparation of draft permits.
